Many of us assume collaboration will take too much time.  We assume we won’t agree, that we are too divergent in our opinions and style.  So we pursue superficial collaboration and stay in our silos.  The truth is whatever additional time collaboration does take results in solutions never previously thought possible, transforming the factor of time. Collaboration at its best honors the individual yet explodes the field of potential.  Collaboration is creativity on steroids.  Collaboration will help us shift from a paradigm based on competition to one based on the belief that there is more that binds us together than sets us apart.
