King County Transit’s Central Base

The Superintendent of King County Transit’s Central Base asked Creative Ground to support a stronger team dynamic between herself and her team of chiefs responsible for managing the Base. The culture was dominated by distrust and broken communication.  We designed a process to bring everyone back into the room with their full humanity intact.  We introduced new meeting practices that opened the space for everyone to speak more honestly and offer their leadership in new ways.  A year later, the group seems to have gone through a transformation in how they work together and deal with conflict when it comes up.
